About The Girl who Leapt through Time
The animation for cinema which bases on a novel that was released in 1965, and was written by Yasutaka Tsutsui who was famous three writers in Japanese SF part. Although the title was unfamilar in Korea, it has been Media-Mix several times such as drama, movie since it was released at first, and it's really popular in Japan. It's first time to make for an animation, but it's not exactly to base on the original. It shows the story after 20 years from novel, so it would be say that it's kind of "Second" story.

Kazuko Yoshiyama who was the main character in the novel, appears as aunt of Makoto Konno who was the main character in this story, so fans are excited to see the behind story of original main character in the Animation.

It shows neatly a confused mind of adolescent girl who has experieced to be tied from the power which can make any dreams whatever she wants. It's kind of growth drama which is a little different from the original which was strong into the SF.

In the past, after I watched "King's Man", I wondered whether it's the worth to draw audiences 10 million people. Because, contrary to the ads of mass media and 10 million which is a superficial record, there is no attraction for the movie, I think. Of course it depends on a person how to think, but in my opinion, it's not the worth to draw audiences 10 million people.

And, I feel such as that again, after I watched one animation. Of course, animation, The Girl who Leapt Through Time which won lots of awards, has attraction, but I don't think it's the worth to be favorably commented upon.

I read this after I watched the animation, so maybe, the review order may be, Novel -> Comic -> Movie -> Animation.

Im going to write the review of animation, actually, there are lots of vague parts when I watch the animation in a cinema. Later, I got it from dark market and watched it one more time. In this time, I understood a little more than before, but still have something to wonder.

So, that's why I bought this novel.

I DO NOT think that this animation is interesting(Of course, it's interesting, but not such as the other people recommend) and this also, is not so interesting as I thought. Maybe, after passing through the translation and edition might be reason, at least, I CAN NOT understand why It's great that was released to take advantage of the animation.

It's the base of the animation "時をかける少女", and it has happend 20 years ago from the animation. The main character is, Kazuya(In the novel, translated Kazuko) who was aunt of Makoto who the main character of animation.

As a whole, the plot was worked speedy, and I felt too short, and the puppy love of main characters which were shown in the animation, is to bring from original, but how to say.... it's like simple answer question(?). It's like, I like you but the way of saying is emotionless, just to say disdainfully. It's such as this kind of love story. It was not shown ardently and tantalizingly as animation.

Probably, the ad is flash, my expectaion might react I think.

Nightmare which was included this, is about, Masako who is a main character, has trauma. But unlike the fame that the author is a pioneer of literature of Japanese SF, it's not like SF, it's like usual horror thriller in Japanese style. And also, unlike delicacy, it's very simple and vain.

However, most like SF is, The Other World which is last one, but ,what the problem is... It finishes without conclusion. I don't know whether it has next work or not, but... while I was feeling that it's nice, it finished..so you might feel nonplused.

Each person has their own style, so I can't say which one is good or not, but in my opinion, if you like something which the others like, you can enjoy it, but it's still not my style, and I don't recommend it.
