This is a Rhythm Action Game. This game that the purpose is to cheer up people who are at a crisis to dance to the beat has an intuition interface to attract a light-user and hardcore-user, both of them.
two basic difficulty and two hidden difficulty seem to care of both-user, but actually in the game, feel-difficulty is a little bit more diffilcult for light-user.
However you will change to hardcore-user if you play the same game several times.
This game makes player to the process naturally, so it has high-gameplay.
Especially when I see the circle which is getting smaller to touch with touch pen, it makes me think about Park Kyoung Rim's song, "Bba Jyu~ Bba Jyu"

3rd and the last title to appear on the NES. It was typical stage-clear
type, but there are different courses towards the end of the game, you
can choose which root you go. And also, you can get some companies,
except main character Trevor, Sypha who has powerful magic spells,
Grant who can climb on walls and move, and Alucard who was the son of
Count, and got against him. The strategy how you clear the game is
depends on which character you choose, so you won't feel bored.
Gameplay in this game was the one of the best in the series. It was
much better than second one on the NES.

game from first title, the first level and last level were the same as
original, and rest of levels, just took over setting up, and changed

healing your heart. Actually this machine was maniac machine, so
difficulty was also so high. It's hard to get it nowadays. It also was
remade for Playstaion that the title was "Castlevania Chronicles"

you set the game to be, limited continues, but the password system is
still present. Its gameplay makes one of the best action games on the
MD.

design is just flat out dull, so these made this game not good.

: Several hundred years after Leon first encounters Dracula. Perhaps
thinking the Belmont clan is long extinct. Dracula comes out of hiding
and sets out to cover the world in darkness. What he didn't know was
that a descendent of Leon still existed. Sonia Belmont. She was
successful in defeating Dracula, but her powers were so strong that the
people of Romania feared her, and thus had the Belmonts exiled from the
land of Translyvania. This is : Soul Weapon System
which you get the power of soul when you defeat the stage-boss, and
Burnning Mode that turns you invincible for several seconds, mixed
here. There are six levels in total, and in order to make the game a
little more interesting, you have to collect a variety of "hidden"
items, but you hardly use the special items that you collect, because
of the great power of Soul Weapon. There was something not to relate in
the story, so it's been retconned and is not part of the official
timeline. It's not too bad, but just feels rather dry, dull, and lack
of the flavour that previous have.

He placed a spell upon Richter and actually managed to get him to side
with evil. This large shift in power caused Alucard to awaken from his
slumber, and he defeats Dracula yet again. After this battle, Richter
settles down and passes the Vampire Killer to the Morris family. But
nobody knows why. This is : The game that the main
character is Alucard who has appeared for a while on NES series. It was
action RPG, because of level and experience, but sadly, the character
usually use a sword or an axe instead of whip. It is certainly a
departure from most of its predecessors, and one of the best videogames
ever made. Amazing 2D graphic, and well animated sprite, varied music
style and gorgeous sound track, attractive character Alucard,
incredibly smooth controls and its gameplay, and depth and replay
value, these made this is the best of the series.

successful. This game has also been retconned. Castlevania -
Eight years down the road, a man of Belmont lineage named Reinhart
Schneider, and a small girl, descendent of Sypha named Carrie
Fernandez, investigate the missing children from the local village. A
gun-wielding knight named Henry joined them, but he was one of the
children Cornell freed several years prior, to rescue other village
kids that are still remaining. This game has also been retconned. This is :

It's the first title to use 3D gaming. Japanese title, 悪魔城ドラキュラ : 黙示録
was released in North America, titled Castlevania, and Japanese title,
悪魔城ドラキュラ : 黙示録外伝 was also released in North America, titled Castlevania
: Legacy of Darkness. This games have also been retconned. You would be
annoied more than fun by uncomfortable control, and both have the same
structure.

series fo N64, Konami considered whether they make the series in only
3D from now on, or not. One of the answer was this game that it was the
first title fo GBA. Howver, it was not exactly following game of
月下の夜想曲. The system was, action RPG like 月下の夜想曲, to adopt lots of things
from 月下の夜想曲, and also to adopt Dual Setup System which can get an
ability after combination two cards. It was included elements which
collect map and items, it shows traditional gameplay of Castlevania.

It was the second title for GBA, From this game, the title was unified
Castlevania which was the title for English. There was quick-save which
was features of portable, and it showed beautiful background to use GBA
spec. Generally, game speed was fast. It adoped the Spell Fusion which
was Weapon System, you search down spell books when you use any of the
six special weapons it will create a special effects. There were plenty
of neat attacks, but there is its lack of originality and lack of
hidden stuff.

felt something was there, finally, when they passed a pole in front of

The third title for GBA. There was unusual setting up that was Japanese
future. In system, it has "Tactical Soul System" to base on the
previous system. It is, collecting monster's soul and gainning access
to their ability. And also, you can use the connectivity of GBA to
trade it or to share it with another players, it was called "Soul Trade
System"

vampire who lives in the forest known as Eternal Night. He gave up his

It was the first title for PS2. It shows unique atmosphere and
backstory well, and various of effect for attacks of whip. And it has
"Effective Orb System" which combine any of subweapon and ORB that you
can attack more fantastic. It was 3D action game taking over from N64,
it's one of the best action game in PS2. Character designer is Ayami

Aria of Sorrow, so you could make new weapon after combining collected
soul and weapon. However, after Symphony, there was nothing to be
getting better than before, and although the game was fun, nothing was
there.

: 3 years since Trevor defeated Dracula. The Lord Dracula left a

forgemaster, but he has betraied 3 years ago. He noticed that Issac,
once a dear friend, accused Hector's lover of witchcraft, and had her
burned. He set off to revenge. This is : It was the
second title for PS2, and was 3D action game of free-camera. You can
control your own devil called Innocent Devil, and it's easy to play the
game. It brough back many of the RPG elemens more than before, and the
story also has several themes. It has pretty good gameplay, and
control. It is also available for XBOX, and character designer is Ayami
Kojima, composer is Michiru Yamane.
The
year is 1944. The world is filled with chaos. The second global war
holds the entire world in its grip of terror, creating hatred and fear
along with countless numbers of lost souls. The agony and hatred of
those souls summon the castle of evil. The castle that has appeared
many times throughout history ony to bring terror and destruction upon
its surroundings, the castle of the dark lord, Dracula... The demonic
castle.

have wanted to play this game for a long time. Actually, Im not good at
action game, exactly, game of scroll-style, so I might have longing for
action game. Viewtiful Joe which I have played a few month ago is good
example I think.
This time I played is Castlevania is very
popular series game. However, my history of video game is not so long,
so, of course, I have no chance to play this series before, and it's my
first time to play castlevania series.
After I played it, I
investigated about related games.... I was surprised that there are
lots of games in this series and long-tradition. However,
unfortunately, I couldn't know which one is better than before, or
worse than before. If I want to judge any games whether they are good
or not, I should play them. The review which was somebody written, it's
good for reference, it can't be an important reason to judge games.
Anyway, this game is, sure, the attractive game, and can realize its fame.
Key Point 1. Attack with partner. Most
reason why I think it's great is, attack with partner. Actually, there
are skills which called Dual Crush, but I prefer that, to call partner,
and to support the main character with its own A.I..
This way
makes players easy to play the game. When players fight against boss,
you can call the partner to attract interest of boss, and control main
character to attack the other side. Of course, partner also has H.P,
and can spend whole H.P and disappear. It prevents from game is easy.
Each
character has each monster for suitable to attack, using this system,
you can play more comfortable and easy, and it makes you concentrative
deeply on this game.
2. Collection Im not sure when it
starts, but I realized that there are lots of collection elements in
Japanese games. The game also has an element such as this, there are
collection elements for items and maps in this game and makes players
addicted to the game. And it's also in monster gallery, Dual Crush
gallery and spell gallery.
When you clear the game once, it can
be the big reason why you play the game one more time, and it means,
life time of game extends. You will have satisfaction fully which you
clear whole game.
3. Clear Prize With Dual Crush, one of
most reason why I like the game is this. Sometimes games has plenty of
clear-prize. Costume, or another playable character, or one more
difficulty level, etc...
This also has clear-prize. If you clear
the game, some playable characters will appear.(Of course you need a
condition to get the clear-prize) Richter who appears on the game to
awake Vampire Killer, can be playable, and Old Axe Armor who is one of
the enemy, also can be playable.
But,
one of really I like is, two sisters who are the enemy in the main
game, can be playable characters. Because, if you clear the game with
two sisters, the ending is real openning part of this game. How they
became Brauner's daughters, why Eric who helps main characters, stayed
the same place like that. If you clear main plot, you can also play
openning plot, and it makes the game has lots of attraction I think.
Missing Point 1. Use of Items There
are tons of items here. But, the purpose of their uses are very simple.
It's for collection. So, items in the game are useless. Sure, you need
few specific items, but except that, you don't need tons of the other
items. It's just for collection, that's all.
2. Boring by Repetitive Pattern. KONAMI
said, they brought the elements of RPG. It's true that the idea of
character's growth, or development style are like RPG, but, they also
brought an useless element. It's to work for level-up. However, if they
brought the idea of growth, it just follows the idea of growth. Anyway,
lots of repetitive play and repetitive pattern make game boring I think.
3. Special Item for Quest. This
part is a little vague. There is a special item for quest, but
unfortunately, if player used that item, and can't get it anymore....
how to go on? Just start again? from openning? I regret that they
didn't solve that problem. Well, it's not bad that to clear main story
uncomfortably, and to start again to clear, but there are the other
people who have different idea like me...
4. The feature of NDS One
of the most feature of NDS is sure, the harmony of Touch-Pen and
Touch-Screen. But, it was thrown away. Of course, you can play with
touch-pen, but it's useless control. I regret this part a litte. It
just was released for NDS, because of it's following portable of
GBA?(How about PSP? however, It will be released for PSP soon.) or, I
don't know whether somthing is there or not, but once it would be
released for NDS, I think they would have try to do variously. Do I
wish lots of things?
Who will like it! -> The player who wants to have first experience in Castlevania series! -> The player who has nostalgia of horizontal or vertical scroll action game!
Who will disappoint it! -> The player who falls into mannerism to Castlevania. -> The player who wants to have various experience of NDS. -> The player who is bored about working for level-up of RPG.

Zard. Zard who ruled the world in the movie, finally, changed his
ambition to conquer the real world, after that, he took Joe's
girlfriend, Silvia into the Movie. Joe also went into the movie to
rescue his girlfriend who was kidnapped. Then Joe became a hero, and
fought against the villain.

could be puerile story, but the influence of this game was awesome.
Especially the fantastic action system was an important part to raise
the value of the game to a higher position. It's difficult from what it
was showed, so it was very difficult. However it was successful to get
lots of fans.
It would plan to release for only Nintendo
Cube, but changed their mind, so it released to convert to PS2, and
Dante who was main character of "Devil May Cry", appeared on the game
by friendship, that's why it's more popular. Japanese edition for PS2
was titled "Viewtiful Joe : A New Hope."

Every
person has their own favorite genre. In my case, my favorite genre is
an adventure which I should use my head, or RPG which has lots of the
interesting adventure, but when I play those kind of games, I sometimes
want to look for simple game that I can cool my head.
The game
is that hitting and fighting without thinking. While I was looking for
such as the games, finally I got one, it's "Viewtiful Joe". The using
word is simple, fighting without thinking and action, but actually, it
makes player angry. More be honest, these kind of games make player
crazy.
"Viewtiful Joe" which was released for NDS, was
released for Game Cube and PS a long time ago, and made a big hit.
There were some points for box-office in secret, one of them is that it
focused on stylish action.

Stylish
Action? Don't you think you have ever heard about it? Yes, it's "Devil
May Cry." It was the first of stylish action game, so is Viewtiful Joe
similar to Devil May Cry?
Yes, but different. It's Viewtiful
Joe which is similar and different. I've never tried the first one and
second one, so I don't know how to give it a comment, but Double
Trouble which was released for NDS, was enough to think about "Devil
May Cry". Beside, the developer is the same as CAPCOM.
But it showed that developers considered lots of things to release for NDS. How the features of NDS apply to Double Trouble.
However I think it's not successful.

At
first, uncomfortable of interface. Although it's one of the feature of
NDS which to use Touch-Pen, this game organized the interface for only
an ambidexterity. Although it's not only for an ambidexterity, to use
controller with left hand, and to use Touch-Pen with right hand are too
confused for one-handed user, and hard to adapt to interface. Anyway,
finally, I could adapt to interface...
Touch-Pen which is one
of the feature of NDS was tried to use variously. But I don't think
it's new. Instead, it look useless. Of course some part is unique, but
"Scratch" and to use the Touch-Pen on the screen while the story was
going was not useful. Instead it might be dangerous to make player
uncomfortable.

But
I think the worst was the speed of subtitle that it was not related to
the feature of NDS. It didn't matter whether it's Japanese or English,
to show subtitle on the screen passed to the next subtitle quickly
before I read. Although the story was poor, that problem was not
satisfying.
Actually, the story was childish. I could
understand why the developers made like this, because the target was
the teenagers, but I think that creating serious hero genre might be
better.

This adventure for NDS is advanced
adventure game from point-click adventure which is typical style of
japanese adventure. Especially, they made full use of features of NDS
which has dual-screen and touch-screen, besides using a microphone
which was include NDS. It shows it's possible to create such as this
style using NDS.

Plot In
1991, while researching human memory for the government's secret lab,

you know why NDS is great machine? If you did, you should play this
game. Definitely, you can feel yourself what NDS is.(Of course, it's my
opinion.)
After NDS released, Various games which make full
use of Touch-Screen and Dual-Screen that unique feature of NDS released
and was given a favorable reception. The shock one of them is
Nintendogs. Of course it depends on, but it makes me affirmative to
think about NINTENDO, even I just watched Trailer.

When I played Trace Memory, I got a difference shock from
Nintendogs. I could guess potential of NDS through the trailer of
Nintendogs, then I confirmed potential of NDS through the Trace Memory.
Why is it great?
The
basic rule of this game is "Point and Click Adventure." It's the
typical pattern of Japanese Adventure, click a mouse, select, watch a
screen, read script and the end, like that. But, in the feature of NDS
Machine, instead it was not played by a mouse, it was played by a
Touch-Pen.

it's
simple difference between a mouse and a touch-pen, but the influence of
the difference is very huge. The mouse control that give the wrist a
power by force is that it can't request by force why the feature. But,
the touch-pen control support a convenience interface which is far from
that. it's the time to confirm power of Dual-Screen and Touch-Screen.
But
best thing is to appear the unique puzzle. it used the Touch-Screen, we
should fold NDS, we can solve the puzzle, and it used the Dual-Screen,
we should use upper screen and lower screen, we can solve the puzzle,
and how can they create the puzzle which was solved to use include Mic.
Of
course there are simple puzzles and confusion puzzles, but to make
puzzles such like this, this game is not simple Point and Click
Adventure.
In my case, I got a shock from the puzzle to stamp a
seal, and the puzzle to blow dust. but, you know, if we try a new
thing, we always miss another things.
< Vain Story >
This
game miss the story line. The prologue made a player exciting, but the
conclusion left him with a sense of futility. and i don't understand
why two memories appeared unnecessariness. Past memory was moved by D
and the memory which Ashley has. I think two memories didn't relate to
each other. And if it has, i get a feeling to set to story by force.
That's
why the story is vague. Instead of that, I supposed if it has one story
line, it's better than now. This game was a little bit boring which a
Point and Click Adventure has, but whenever you solved each puzzle, you
will be suprised from the idea.
Key Script Captain : Don't become one of those boring adults who doesn't ask questions.

sadness comes from not knowing the truth. I should know.
