Perhaps the root cause might be from me. And maybe there are several reason.
That idea is not from me who is a director? get angry to myself? actually, it's not important.

yesterday, I couldn't have any idea about the game on a meeting. I was almost crazy not to have the idea. I was sad that I should agree somebody's saying that when you are older, your brain is getting stiff... but this morning, I could have some idea about my game what I thought well... so the problem is....

I think it's my limitation because it's not my field... that's why the experience is important..

Developing a game what I want. It's basically sure thing but real is not so easy.

well, I come in to know it. just no experience.... I think what I thought last time, and forgotten thought, and it makes me refresh.

anyway, it's just one in my way.

just.... I don't want to develop.... maybe it's not my style, but there is no point that Im interested in. It could be good system, or not, it's too easy to decide, but.....whatever...
who says designer is just adjusting....... just it's not my thought.

headache, and getting complicated... and I want to take a trip, but I don't have a camera, and.... anyway, it's time to take a relax...

I felt again on the meeting yesterday..... I want to set my thought whenever I can. So the thing I need is, Lua, Japanese, NDSL.....??

When I was interested in the Game Director, so it's maybe 4-5 years before...???

One saying about game director that I saw on the web.

"Don't define what is design. Don't pretend to know this is design."

yeah.. I don't exactly remember what it says, but one thing is sure. Don't be sure this is design.

so..

just pass by one and a half year, and almost 2 years right now.. and don't have any finish work of Rough Game Director sometimes memorizes about this. And still.. I think it's right.

Develop a game is work of team. If one of them is stupid(like me), team can be at a loss what to do, or can collapse that team.

So, I don't think it's bad that is giving advice from an experienced to new.

Actually, it's sometimes helpful, when I hang out on gamejob(http://www.gamejob.co.kr) to see some advice or cheating from seniors

but one thing I was disappointment is... mostly stop new from working for game market.

well, my parents sure, and the world sure... yeah...I can understand but most game developers say like that.

so... why they work for game development... less salary, lots work, don't get a salary a lot... you know that....and they know that!!!!

But I complain that preferring experienced under the present market. In my opinion, some of huge company make farm-system like SDS of Samsung, and revitalize amateur market and indi market..but real is a ditch....

How to be game director... or game developer....

In my tiny opinion, just having full of passion about games. don't be disappear, don't be tired of passion...

and one more.... realize exactly what difference between game creating and game play. If u know this, that's it.. perfect..

There is one saying. Enjoy ur hobby as hobby.

But I got a job from my hobby. How long I live, preparing an exam of public official with headache, studying for doctor or lawyer to read a difficult book, and if Im luck, I pass the exam and getting married with good wife, and having cute baby and blah blah blah....die~~

yeah... It's normal, regular.. it's true.. It's good life, regular life...

but..... If I do that.... when I have cute baby.....

I might regret..... Ah.. I would developed a game that time...

oh.. I also regret right now... Ah.. I would not came to develop a game...

sure... it's up to me what I choose.... but... if I regret for this or that.... I just wanted to regret after doing what I want.

When I come in here, I decide one thing. I might be ignored a lot, or be treated with contempt and be reviled... just standing all hardship.. sure I might regret.... but just put up with it...

Ah.. sure, if I can't make money, it's a little different .. because I have to make money.. but before do that, I will be alive even though I get hurt a lot....

Here, it's so terrible here... but only one thing you can be alive here...

It's just passion of a game. I think so. but don't misunderstand between passion and enjoyable.

You like a game, and it's fun, so come in here,

well.. it's up to you.... just I hope you don't regret.....that I want to say.... ㅡ.ㅡ;;;

Ah.. experience is important I think. There is no good way to make new idea as the experience. I have only one thing to regret is, I don't have much experience... ㅡ.ㅡ;;;

How to write a document of game design... I had that question, and also whenever new game director come in a game market, ask that question a lot.

In my answer is...

There is no correct answer.

As I told, creating a game is team work. So if graphic designer and programmer understand your document, it's really really great document.

But it's impossible. All programmers are different each other, and designer also, so it's impossible to make them understand so well from ur document. And actually, they don't read ur document so deeply.

yeah, good to draw a picture, to use Storyberry( http://www.storyberry.com/ ), to make a film, whatever...

but just often write the document, and a lot. After that you can create your style to write, or to feel, and after that changing like this or like that....

anyway..there is no answer...

I would disappear because of getting a job, sth like that, however one of my favorite site, "Pig-Min : Post Indie Gaming" posted another interesting column.

Below two columns what I talk about.

Im getting thinking about the word, Amateur after I know a website, Pig-Min. And Im interested in the market, Indie Game naturally.

Actually, this kind of things, just when I think about why developers develop a game, I started to wonder about it. Anyway, it's more complicated.

However, Im just wondering what Amateur is, and What Indie is.

When I read above two columns, they focus on the importance of Indie game, but I don't know, maybe only I think, they seem to talk about the same topic, but they talk about the different topic.

And, give me a question what difference is between Indie and Amateur.

Both are the same and different I think.

First, amateur is, it's not professional. so it confronts with commercial business. Non-commercial, and non-professional, it's a keyword for Amateur.

In the dictionary, amateur is a lover of sth. they like it, but it's not their job. just like it, and enjoy it.

But Indie is, a little different. More professional, more commercial. Of course in the scale, we can't compare with major, but it's on different line from amateur. It's Indie.

However they have the same things, they don't depend on commercial fund, and they are reflected in purpose of developer. That's why they use together with the same meaning, I think.

In the above columns, the first one, I feel Amateur, and the second one, I feel Indie.

Anyway, the result is the same. Amateur, Indie, it's not easy to be autogenous in Korea, and there are a few people who think such as that.

And what stands the same place is, Korean Game Market.

This time, I had an interview with a company "B" which started business independently from a company "N" which is famous for a game "L".(@.@ comlicate..)

I searched about the company a little bit, so although it becomes independent, it's so big company I think. Right I failed again, but just I summarize...

1. Got Swindled!!!!!
Actually, the interview time is from 4:30 to 5:00, it would be about 30 minutes, and I thought what interview questions, and got a wise answer. Especially, I prepared for my special "Emotion Comment"...

My actual plan was, I have 30 minutes, so first, I start smoothly little by little, and finally I use my special "Emotion Comment"... It was my plan...

But, shit!!! just 10 minutes, they didn't ask too much, just finish!!!

W...wait.. I prepared lots of things.. I spent lots of time to think, but... that's all??!!!!

I just forgot for a while...

I should tell a key point such as "Emotion Comment" in the beginning part, but I forgot. I have a bias like "Last Emotion Event" so I forgot.

In the game, in the movie, if it doesn't catch users or audiences in 10 minutes, nobody guarantees it to box-office, but, I forgot.

But they said interview is for 30 minutes!!!! ORZ.....

2. Don't tell something which I was caviled...
I think, maybe 3-4 years ago? 4-5years ago? At that time, I studied Game Design, and I bought a book, "Game Architecture and Design". I stop to read it's so difficult, but it stabs me with a dagger!!!!

I just said that I study the game design by myself with several books, they asked which book I read, so I just answer that book. And asking to me that which part I remember...

H...hey.. I've read 4-5 years ago.. and I didn't finish...ㅜㅜ

I still take care of this book..but it's still difficult book. Anyway.. I learn that don't tell something which I was caviled.


3. Wow!!! A interview fee +_+'''
I had an interview.. I got 30 thousand won which was an interview fee!! One of my junior said, if I have an interview twice for a day, I make 60 thousand won, and if I do this for a job, I make 200 for a month. I know it's kidding...

Anyway, not all of company give an interview fee, but I don't need an interview fee, just can I have a job?? ㅜㅜ


4. This company is... well;;;;
If time passes, lots of things change. Like thinking when I had at first... like that... I apply for mind of the company, but I couldn't find this while I had an interview with employer.

For sure!! Just 10 minutes.. ㅜㅜ;;; If I have one more chance, I can do so well.. orz...


5. And....
When I first find this company, I think it's exactly suitable for me, and I thought a lot, but I didn't do so well... the aftermath is so big... I don't want to do anything..I feel like, I was throw out from my girlfriend...ㅜㅜ


6. The thing I should do...
I have 3 article to translate in English on my blog, and I have to write 2 reviews which is Mario Kart DS, Osu Takake Ouendan, and 2 class projects, 2 serious assignments..

I still don't move my ex-homepage... almost for one year.. -0-
